Prices and payment

How much does it cost to rent a car in Marrakech?

From €35 per day for a Dacia Sandero or Dacia Logan, €40 for a Renault Clio 5, Peugeot 208 or Opel Corsa, and €45 for the automatic Dacia Duster, comprehensive insurance included. Rentals of a week or more get a lower daily rate.

Is the price all-inclusive?

Yes. It includes comprehensive insurance, 24/7 assistance, 200 km per day, a second driver, a baby seat on request and free delivery anywhere in Marrakech or at Menara Airport. The only amounts on top are the refundable €800 deposit and, if you want the car in Casablanca, Agadir or Essaouira, €120 per transfer.

Are there any hidden fees at pick-up?

No. The total we confirm before your arrival is the amount you pay. No airport fee, no night fee, no second-driver fee, no young-driver fee.

How much is a week or a month?

A week is 7 times the daily rate at most, often less; ask for your dates. A month costs €650 for the Renault Clio 5 and 7,500 MAD for each of the other models. See long-term rental.

How can I pay?

By payment card (credit or debit) or in cash, in euros or dirhams, at delivery. Both work for the rental and for the deposit.

Can I rent without a credit card?

Yes. A debit card or cash is accepted for the rental and the €800 deposit. Details in renting without a credit card.

Do prices go up in high season?

Our public prices stay the same; availability is what changes. Book early for Easter, July and August, Christmas and New Year.

Do I have to pay a deposit when I book?

Yes, a booking deposit of 30 % of the rental confirms the reservation; the balance is paid at delivery. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the pick-up time.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the start of the rental. Later than that, the 30 % booking deposit is kept.

How far in advance should I book?

A few days is usually enough outside peak periods. For the automatic Duster or for peak dates, book two to four weeks ahead.

Deposit and insurance

How much is the deposit?

€800, the same for every car, taken at delivery by card or in cash and returned at the end of the rental after the joint check of the car.

Can I rent a car in Marrakech without a deposit?

Not with us. Every rental carries the €800 refundable deposit; it is what allows an all-inclusive price with a reasonable excess. Why “no deposit” offers deserve a careful read: car rental without deposit.

What insurance is included?

Comprehensive insurance with an excess of 8,000 MAD, and 24/7 breakdown assistance. If you are at fault in an accident you pay the excess plus one week of rental for the immobilisation; if you are not at fault, the week of immobilisation only; glass breakage is charged at 20 % of its value. Full terms on the insurance page.

Can I buy a zero-excess or full-cover option?

No. Excess buy-out options do not exist in Morocco, with us or with other agencies. The comprehensive insurance with its 8,000 MAD excess is the cover, and the €800 deposit is what guarantees it.

What happens if I have an accident?

Call us first, then the assistance number on the contract. Fill in a joint accident report with the other driver, take photos, call the police (19) or gendarmerie (177) if anyone is injured. You never pay more than the excess and the immobilisation week.

What does the deposit cover?

The insurance excess, missing fuel at return, and fines received during the rental. If the car comes back as it left, you get the full €800 back.

When do I get the deposit back?

At the return of the car, after the joint check with our agent.

The cars

Do you have an SUV or 4×4?

Yes, a baby seat is free on request when booking.

Is mileage limited?

200 km per day are included, 1,400 km for a week. Beyond that, each extra kilometre costs 2 MAD. Tell us before the rental if you plan a long itinerary.

Diesel or petrol?

Five cars are diesel (Logan, Clio 5, 208, Corsa, Duster); the Sandero Streetway is petrol. The fuel type is on the key tag. See fuel in Morocco.

What is the fuel policy?

You return the car at the same level as at delivery. Missing fuel is charged at pump price, nothing more.

Driving in Morocco

Is it safe to drive in Morocco?

Yes, with a calm driving style: right-hand traffic, 60/100/120 km/h limits, scooters in town, police checkpoints at town entrances, no night driving on country roads. See is it safe to drive in Morocco.

Fines are paid on the spot against a receipt; keep it. A fixed-radar fine received later is deducted from the deposit with the notice as proof. See speed limits and checkpoints.
